Los Angeles Yacht Club est. 1901 is private membership driven club that supports and organizes water activities for all boats and ages. This club is located in the upper breakwater of the Los Angeles Harbor California, United States of America, and the club supports a facility on Catalina Island. Each month many excellent events and races that target all ages and all yachting activities. Social dinners and luncheons build friendships and make the sailing more fun. Sharing and participation in boating and racing makes each member a piece of the notable history that is Los Angeles Yacht Club.

October 1, 2008 Who say’s “you can’t go home again”?
Bob Shahnazarian, President of American Marine Corporation has graciously extended an invitation to LAYC members to a picnic lunch at our “old Club” on Terminal Island. American Marine has occupied the facility since we moved to Cabrillo. You will marvel at how little has changed.
