One of the Los Angeles Yacht Club’s most valuable trophies, this very fine sterling silver urn bears the Hallmarks of Birmingham, England, and was made in the year 1865. The motif is Roman with a naval scene chased on the back panel. Four ship’s prows, in the design of boar’s heads, adorn the base. The silver workmanship is superb.
