Scott Grey: The Demise of SS Princess Louise
SS Princess Louise was an elegant 600-passenger ship sailing for Canadian Pacific’s service between Vancouver and Skagway from 1921 until 1964, when she came to Los Angeles to serve as a floating restaurant and banquet venue. She remained a popular destination until the mid-80s, but corruption, greed, intrigue and bad luck led to her intentional sinking off Point Vicente in 1990.
