Wednesday Luncheon

Each week we host a Wednesday Luncheon featuring delicious food and interesting speakers. Talks cover a wide range of subjects of nautical and community interest. Additionally, in the tradition of the club, our Wednesday luncheon is open to the public. This is a great opportunity for not-yet-members to get acquainted with the club, meet other members and have a wonderful day on the marina.

The white tablecloth luncheons feature an artfully presented three-course lunch followed by a thirty to forty minute presentation. The topics can include anything of broad interest to the yachting community. Recent speakers covered members’ travels and cruises, Catalina developments and the design of America’s Cup boats. Reservations are encouraged, so if you plan to join us please call the club office at (310) 831-1203 to confirm your attendance. The Luncheon starts at noon and wraps up about 1:30. Lunch is $20 plus tax and visitors may pay by cash or credit card at the club.

    Mixed field greens, thinly sliced red onions, shredded carrots, mandarin oranges, English cucumber,

    and cherry tomatoes, tossed with balsamic vinaigrette, and crumbled feta cheese.

  • Entrée

  • Grilled Cheese Sandwich & Tomato Bisque

    A traditional sandwich, grilled to melted perfection, served with a cup of savory

    tomato bisque flavored with onion, carrot, celery, garlic, thyme and basil.


     

  • Dessert

  • Bread Pudding w/ Chocolate Sauce

    A serving of warm bread pudding drizzled with chocolate sauce.

    Chopped romaine and iceberg lettuce, tossed in a lemon vinaigrette along with

    crumbled blue cheese, dried cranberries, and cherry tomatoes.

    A traditional grilled cheddar cheese sandwich and a cup of creamy tomato bisque.
